Looking for something a little unique but still traditional for your #Thanksgiving Dinner? These buttery and flaky Homemade Cheddar Biscuits are incredibly flavorful and so easy to prepare!

Homemade Cheddar Biscuits Ingredients
Instructions
1) Preheat the oven to 420 F.
2) Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
3) In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, granulated sugar, garlic powder, and baking powder. Add cubes of cold butter and using a cutter or fork cut the butter until the mixture forms chickpea-size pieces.
4) Pour the cold buttermilk and mix just until combined with a wood spoon. Add the shredded cheese and gently mix everything by hand.
5) Put the dough onto a floured work surface and roll it out into a 1-inch thick rectangle. Fold one side into the center and then the other side as shown in the IG Reel. Roll it out to a 1-inch thick rectangle again.
6) Using a cookie cutter, cut out biscuits. Transfer the biscuits to the baking sheet.
7) Brush with egg wash on the top of biscuits (optional).
8) Bake for 14-17 min until golden brown.
9) Remove from the oven and brush the top of the biscuits with butter.
Serve warm.
