 350 g bread flour⁣
 15 g sugar⁣
 15 g milk powder (optional)⁣
 7 g instant dry yeast⁣
 7 g salt⁣
 200 g whole milk, at room temp⁣
 1 large egg ⁣
 60 g unsalted butter, softened and cut into cubes⁣
Garlic butter:⁣
 50 g butter⁣
 2 cloves garlic, minced ⁣
 1-2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped⁣
 1 pinch salt⁣
For the top:
 1 egg

Make the dough:⁣

Add all the dough ingredients, except butter, to the bowl of your stand mixer. Knead on low speed for 10 minutes until the dough comes together. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣Slowly add the butter, one cube at a time. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣Once all the butter is added, knead for 10-20 more minutes at low-medium speed until the dough has a smooth surface and pulls away from the sides of the bowl.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl and proof at 28°C / 80°F in the folding proofer for 60-90 minutes or until doubled in size.⁣

Divide the dough into 9 equal pieces and roll them into balls. Cover, and rest for 10 minutes.⁣ Use your hands to shape the rounds into logs that are thicker on one end. ⁣

With a rolling pin, roll the logs into long water-drop-shaped discs. Roll from the thicker end and down for a croissant-like shape. ⁣

Arrange in a 9x9-inch pan and proof at 28°C / 80°F in the folding proofer for 30 minutes. ⁣

Brush the rolls with egg wash and bake at 180°C / 350°F for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown. ⁣
