As you know, falafel is usually made with chickpeas. In this recipe, we added broccoli in addition to the chickpeas, enhancing both the flavor and appearance of the dish. And the green finger broccoli appeared.

Broccoli Falafel Sticks Ingredients

 1 1/2 cups cooked chickpeas
 1 small broccoli head, cut into florets
 1 tsp cumin seeds
 ½ cup bread crumbs
 ½ cup chopped parsley
 ½ onion, finely chopped
 1 garlic clove, minced
 ¼ cup olive oil
 salt and pepper

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180 °C / 355 °F and line a baking tray with parchment paper. Take the broccoli and cut it into small pieces. Then peel the garlic off their skins.

Place all the ingredients into a food processor and process until sticky. The food processor allows the ingredients to be blended together in a short time. You can add more oil if needed.

Form the mixture into small sticks and arrange on the baking tray. Spray with oil and bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown on top and crispy. Enjoy!
