Nacho Crumbed Air Fried Tofu Ingredients

For the coating
 400 g firm tofu
1 pack corn chips (I used vegan cheddar Nachos by Wholesome Food Company)
1/3 or 1/2 cup soy milk
  cup all-purpose flour
 1 pinch smoked paprika
For the sauce
 2 tbsp vegan mayo
 1 tsp dijon mustard
 1 tsp smoked paprika

Instructions

1

Preheat the airfryer. Dry the tofu with a napkin or place on a tray lined with a kitchen towel. Lay another kitchen towel on it and place a heavy plate or cutting board on it. Let the excess water drain for about 3 minutes. Drying the water will make your work easier while cooking and will make it more delicious. Then cut it into sticks or any desired shape.

2

Using a rolling pin, finely crush corn chips and place them into a bowl. In a separate bowl add soy milk. In a third bowl mix flour and smoked paprika.

3

Roll each tofu piece in four then dip into the milk mixture, letting the excess milk drip off. You can do double or single coating, roiling again in flour and milk and finally roll in the crumbed nachos, pressing down slightly on all sides until tofu is well coated.

4

Place coated tofu in the air fryer basket and fry for 12 minutes at 180 °C / 355 °F until golden and crispy. To make the sauce combine all the ingredients together.
