Homemade Teriyaki Sauce

You may have bought teriyaki sauce from the grocery store before. Have you ever prepared your own teriyaki sauce at home? With this recipe, you can make teriyaki sauce in the healthiest way. The teriyaki sauce we buy contains a flavor in which the salt-sugar balance accompanies the flavor of ginger and garlic. You can prepare this sauce in less time than it takes to go to the grocery store!

Ingredients

The recipe is nutritious and healthy with all the nutrients it contains. But let's take a closer look at what these ingredients will add to the recipe.

Salmon filet: We recommend buying fresh salmon rather than store-bought frozen salmon. Make sure that the color of the salmon is vibrant. Salmon, one of the main elements of the recipe, will provide the amino acid balance your body needs. Drying your salmon with fresh paper towels is the simplest method for cleaning it. This helps in lifting and removing any salmon scales that may be visible.

Green onions: It can be added to the salmon as a side dish while serving. But this is completely optional.

Roasted sesame seeds: You can add an aromatic taste when you add it to the recipe. We recommend that you do not use it if you do not want to add it or if you are allergic to it.

Sake: It is a Japanese wine that is commonly encountered in Japanese cuisine. You can use Sake in the recipe to remove the distinctive smell of fish. If you cannot find this wine in the markets, you can choose a different wine.

Mirin: It is a thick Japanese wine that leaves a sweet taste in your mouth without the taste of alcohol. If you cannot find this ingredient, replace it with rice vinegar. However, add ½ teaspoon of white sugar for every tablespoon used to overcome the vinegar's sour taste.

Cooking Time Ranges

The cooking time of the salmon varies between 7-9 minutes, depending on the air fryer you use and the thickness you slice the salmon. First of all, you can set yourself to 7 minutes. If you think it is not cooked, you can cook for 1-2 more minutes.
