Air Fryer French Toast Sticks Ingredients
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (very important that it is preheated) and line the air fryer with parchment paper if necessary.
In a wide bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon and a pinch of salt.
Slice your bread into sticks.
Dip each piece of bread in the egg mixture and then turn them over to coat both sides. Take care not to get the bread slices too wet. If it gets too wet, your slices may fall apart.
Place the french toast sticks in the air fryer and repeat about 8-12 pieces with as many pieces as can fit in the fryer at once. Make sure the slices don't overlap, or you'll end up with evenly undercooked slices.
Bake for 5-6 minutes, or until the French toast is golden and puffed up.
.Serve the French toast sticks warm with maple syrup and powdered sugar, if desired. You can enjoy the delicious recipe accompanied by fresh fruits by dipping into nutella.
